Objectives
Within this workshop participants will be able to:
- Recognize and apply the key elements and techniques of digital photography
- Recognize the key techniques required to conduct a video interview
- Developing good interviewing techniques
- Critique photographs based on their visual elements
- Critically analyze visual representations in photographs and identify the motivations for these representations
- Create, develop and produce a photo essay
- Create, develop and produce a portrait using photographs and writing
- Use photography and oral testimonies to tell their stories and voice their concerns, particularly as refugee youth living in Montréal
- Use photos for advocacy purposes
- Exhibit their work publicly
